About Silambu Selvar Padmashri Dr.Ma.Po.Sivagnanam's Trust :

M. P. Sivagnanam, (Mylapore Ponnuswamy Sivaganam) (Tamil: மயிலை . பொன்னுசாமி. சிவஞானம்) popularly known as Ma.Po.Si(Tamil: ம . பொ. சி) (26 June 1906 – 3 October 1995), was a true nationalist,freedom fighter,politician, founder of the political party Tamil Arasu Kazhagam. He has authored more than 100 books.

Though M.P.Sivagnanam had bagged many laurels in latter years ,he was a person who was deprived of higher education due to poor economic condition. 4This trust was established by his daughter Madhavi in his name to serve the alike needy.

This trust aims to empower the meritorious individuals to aspire and excel. The trust also believes in bridging the social–economic divide by imparting world class education.

Trust’s other activities would be promotion of art,Tamil Literature, health care etc. 




The trust inaugural function took place at Savers Hotels @Radhakrishnan Road . The Function was presided with esteemed members of Tamil literature and Patriots of Tamil Arasu Kazhagam . Inaugural function was aheaded by Former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu . Kalaignar Karunanidhis Wife Rajathi Ammal , Bharathanatyam Dancer and Founder of Nrithodhaya Dr.Padma Subramanium , Rani of Chettinad House Dr.Meena Muthiah . The trust made its succesfull progressive step in aiding children Educational fee for School / College . 




Mrs.Madhavi Ma.Po.Si is the founder of the Trust , who happens to be daughter of Silambu Selvar Dr.Ma.Po.Sivagnanam . Who happens to a Writer / Speaker . She has been an active participant in various Tamil Association meetings . This proves here immense interest and passion towards Language and Country Like her Father ( Ma.Po.Si ).
